The presentation at the 48th Annual IVLA Conference in Montreal demonstrates the arts- based research project D.A.S. (Dementia. Arts. Society), which engages with patterns of perception and action in the context of an aging society. This project draws on art-based processes for changing the sensory perception of persons without dementia and thereby seeks to raise general societal awareness for the situation of people living with dementia.
